Ruben Peeters law offices is a young legal practice focusing on intellectual property rights (I.P.).
The objective of the practice is to deliver high quality but affordable legal services in the field of I.P., characterized by the personal approach of e.g. a classic stand-alone practice, and the cross-border view of e.g. a multinational ‘boutique firm’.
These services can among others consist of rendering advice (including ‘freedom to operate’, ‘due diligence’ and ‘second opinions’), providing support during negotiations (co-operation agreements, technology-transfer, license agreements and settlement agreements), conducting legal proceedings before the Belgian courts and/or coordinating legal proceedings abroad.
I.P. issues are often solved with a multidisciplinary approach. More and more they have international dimensions. In view of this, where appropriate, a personal network of other service providers (such as European patent attorneys, trade mark agents, technical or scientific experts,...) and foreign correspondents is accessed.
